Western Pond Turtle Sticker

The western pond turtle, a freshwater turtle native to Oregon and Washington, is vulnerable to habitat loss and invasive species. In 2015, Friends of the Columbia Gorge Land Trust acquired Turtle Haven—a special land preserve designed to create new protected habitat for turtle reintroduction efforts, to help ensure the Gorge remains a healthy and vibrant place for the wildlife and people that live there. This custom-designed sticker celebrates the collaboration between Friends and partner groups to reintroduce western pond turtles to their habitat in the Columbia Gorge.
